Turnaround House provides practical love and support in a residential setting to young people aged 16-25.
At the very heart of Turnaround House is a desire to foster safe and supportive environment where young people, who may not have had the best start in life, can begin to re-build their lives within the encouragement and support of the incredible Turnaround team and wider Turnaround community.
We hold to a fundamental belief that every life has been made in the image of God and is therefore immensily valuable and has huge potential. Our heart is to create a Kingdom family environment that causes young people to flourish in every aspect of their lives.
Each young person will have full access to a range of life-skills activities, a Personal Development Plan and a designated Key Worker who will support them in their journey.
The physical space of Turnaround House comprises of 17 units of accommodation, 6 of these have a communal lounge and kitchen, 5 have a kitchenette with communal lounge and then there are 2 x 3 bed shared flats.
Residents will be assessed and offered the accommodation that is most suited to their needs. The goal of Turnaound is to help to prepare young people to live independently as active citizens in their local community.
