Any questions about our gathering?
Every Sunday morning, our doors open at 9.30am to gather for a 10am start.
Our Wave House Church building is the big grey building, accessible from the Newquay high street (East Street, Newquay TR7 1BH).
Everyone is welcome at Wave House Church! We have a welcome team ready to welcome you and help you to feel comfortable here. They will help you find a seat and serve you a hot drink. We have a pram and wheelchair access door to the right of the building – our welcome team will direct you to it! For our children and families, we have a designated family space to help children to engage, along with the Little Fishes creche and Splash Kids activities for 4-11year olds.
There are a few carparks onsite at the back of the building on Seymour Avenue reserved for those who have limited mobility. Newquay Health Centre on St Thomas Road is a few minute walk away and they kindly let us have use of their carpark for free until 1pm on a Sunday. You can also find free parking on many of the surrounding streets and a paid council car park on St Michaels Avenue.
After a time of catch up with friends and enjoying a hot drink, the service starts at 10am. The church participates with sung worship led by our worship team, with words on the screen. You are free to listen or engage as you feel most comfortable. After this, the children are released to go their own activities. We then hear about what is going on in the life of the church before one of the leaders or a guest speaker will talk about a particular topic. These topics are all based on what the Bible says and how we can apply it to our lives today. After the service, there is more opportunity to spend time with each other. Services usually last for around 1.5 hours.
Quite simply, come as you are! There is no 'dress code', so come in jeans and a t-shirt, come in shorts, come in flip flops, come in your 'Sunday best'.... Everyone will be welcomed as they are!
