The Church in Acts

Summer Sundays

This Summer, join us as we go back to our roots and explore what it means to be a church in Acts

Over the month of August, we are focusing on what it means for us to be like the Church in Acts. Our focus is taken from Acts 2 vs 42-47

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.  All the believers were together and had everything in common.  They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,  praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Each Sunday will be different but will reflect an element of the early church. Here is the break down for each Sunday.

Sunday 2nd August | 10am | Wave House Church

Teaching on Acts 2 and how we can live out being a Church in Acts. No Splash Kids but kids activities provided.

Sunday 9th August | Together in Homes

This Sunday, we are encouraging people to gather together in small groups in homes. Some people will be gathering together at CreationFest. For those who would still like together at church, there will be a small gathering with worship and communion at 10am in the Store House.
